What was the brief?
Paint a large mural in the courtyard of Expedia’s Bali offices. The wall sits behind plants and an outdoor table, so the artwork had to work with the space around it.
How did I approach the mural?
I painted around the planting and worked through the practical challenges of heat, humidity, rain and limited local paint supplies. The Expedia team helped shape solutions as the work progressed.
What did the finished mural look like?
A full-colour courtyard mural with a blue wave, green mountains and a yellow plane. It runs behind the greenery and outdoor seating. This was my first international mural.
