Stoked to share this fun commission I worked on recently!
I was asked to create an imaginative shadow of a kid full of fun bright and colourful ideas and themes. It was a blast to put together the combination of items, I used to love getting lost in the intricate illustrated kids picture books when I was growing up. I'm stoked to have this piece in the kid's room and hope to inspire and excite his imagination as he is growing up.

Maybe you've got ideas for your own custom artwork like this, have a look at other examples and get in touch.

Here is a time-lapse of the whole thing coming together from start to end.

If this inspired you to think of someone who deserves to receive a custom painting have a look over at my other examples of these personalized gift artworks.

The mighty Jeral Tidwell has knocked up a scheme to produce a massive book of skateboard art. I created this one because of my endless procrastination. I don't have a beard but if I did, this would be my nailbiting. Land Yachtz Longboarding helped front up some sponsorship money, and Last Gasp is getting involved too.
Check out these hashtags on instagram to see some of the other artists work.

Commission for Sydney local brand TC tees, who are doing rad work using local artist for original designs. Came up with this nifty little number that comes in any colour as long as it is black.

They were also cool enough to host a short 'about me' section on their website. Rad dudes.

I painted this dood live during the third instalment of the Wax Lab open deck sesh.

We thought it would be funny to have a Cookie Monster being caged by the weight of his addiction. The posh snake raises a familiar image of our own corporations in charge.

I've realised that I don't post enough shots of the details from my work. It's all super detailed but that's tricky to convey online. So I'm posting a buch of close ups from each of my animals.

Here are some shots from the opening night of my solo exhibition Treasure Island a couple of weeks ago at Blacklisted Gallery in Sydney's Surry Hills.

The speed demon Rob McWhinnie hit me up about putting some new ink on his stark white downhill helmet.
I  was keen to get some video action of this daredevil screaming down mountains, and pulling elegant, high speed turns.
I liked trying out a new surface, the curves were a challenge, and keeping the stripes straight was a tricky challenge.

Cheers to my friend Azure Mysterious for the photography.
